The UK Region had its first official meet of the at Luton in March. Aptly called “Luton Lunch” it was a great success with 15 Vipers, an SRT RAM and 2 Corvettes - what an excellent start to the season with perfect weather to match!!!
This particular year was extra special because it marked the 10th Anniversary of the event. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon made even more special by having Chuck Tator share it with us. “Many thanks for coming Chuck and thanks for the T shirts.”
After lunch I presented our Vice President Barry Adams (VIPER BAZ UK) with the latest poster of Vipers at the Ring signed by SRT CEO Ralph Gilles. I wanted this poster to go to a good home and couldn’t think of anyone more deserving having done so much for the Viper community near and far. This particular poster already has pedigree and it’s only a few months old; signed by the CEO and presented to Paul Lacey in recognition of his hard work, Paul donated it to me as the incoming President.
There’s lots more I could talk about and lots of meets planned in the UK throughout the year including a dyno day in Luton (being organised by VIPER BAZ), a charity weekend at the UK Top Gear race circuit (being organised by Fatboy 18), a trip to the LeMans Classic in France (being organised by Leatherman) and hopefully a trip to the Nurburgring (being organised by Paul S Lacey). What am I doing I hear you say - I sometimes wonder…. private track day being organised in September, watch this space. NOTE to self:- Remember VOI 12 is in September.
A fun packed year planned ahead…..
Best regards from everyone in the UK.
